Feature Specification: RC View and Data Correction Module: Operations / Data Management Priority: High Description: This feature allows authorized users to view Return/Receipt Confirmation (RC) records and correct erroneous data entries to ensure system accuracy and reporting integrity. 1. User Stories
As an Operations Manager , I want to view a list of all submitted RCs so that I can audit the daily workload. As a Data Entry Clerk , I want to correct a wrong quantity or status on an existing RC so that the inventory levels remain accurate. As a System Administrator , I want to track who made corrections and when, for audit trail purposes.
2. Functional Requirements A. RC View (Inquiry & Display)
Search Criteria: The system must provide a search interface with the following filters: rc view and data correction
RC Number / Reference ID Date Range (Creation Date / Transaction Date) Status (Pending, Completed, Cancelled) Customer/Vendor Name or ID Location/Warehouse ID
List View: Display a paginated list of RCs showing key summary data (ID, Date, Status, Total Amount/Quantity). Detail View: Ability to drill down into a specific RC to see line-item details (e.g., specific SKUs, quantities received, condition of goods).
B. Data Correction (Edit Functionality)
Editable Fields: Authorized users can modify specific fields based on business rules.
Allowed: Quantity, Item Condition, Remarks/Notes, Date (if within an open period). Restricted: RC Reference Number (primary key), Original Creator ID.
Validation Rules:
The system must prevent corrections if the RC is linked to a finalized Invoice or Accounting period (unless specific override permissions exist). Quantity corrections must trigger real-time inventory adjustments (reversal of the original entry and application of the new entry).
