Once entered, the software writes a flag into your Windows registry or a config file on the interface’s EEPROM, marking it as "activated forever." You can then disconnect your Wi-Fi, drive your laptop into a barn with no signal, and still perform full diagnostics.
After successful offline activation, backup your opcom.ini file. This way, if you reinstall Windows, you can restore the license without re-entering the code.
