: Legitimate Nintendo Switch updates are delivered directly through the console's system settings or as verified .nsp / .xci files from trusted digital backups.
: There have been mentions of an "NSPJP update 105rar" generating excitement as a potential leak from Square Enix.
A common tactic used by malicious distributors is to name a file something like update.nsp.exe . If a Windows user has file extensions hidden, they will only see update.nsp and assume it is a safe console file, executing the malware by mistake. Survey Scams and Adware
: If you're looking for a Japanese version of an update, it's likely that the NSP file is intended for a Japanese Nintendo Switch console. This could include language-specific content or region-specific features.
Driven by a mix of curiosity and the late-night mania common to data hunters, Kaito ran the executable. His monitor didn't launch a game; it launched a map. It was the map of Orsterra, but stripped of its HD-2D beauty. It was a wireframe world, cold and pulsing with a low, rhythmic hum. The Ninth Traveler

The Trouble with Tribbles is such a classic episode. It’s on my list of stuff to rewatch when I’m having a bad day and need a pick-me-up. (I get the winter blues, so I really appreciate Tribbles and other fun scifi stuff during the winter in particular. :) )
I think it’s awesome that it’s on your pick-me-up list. :) Sometimes I like to just look at the gif of Kirk after all the tribbles fall on him because it’s one of the few things I can count on to always make me laugh!
Heh, for sure!
