: Unplug the tool first. Use needle-nose pliers to grip any exposed part of the blade. If it's completely flush, you may need to disassemble the casing to push the broken piece out from the back of the lifting tube.

Insert a long flat-head screwdriver from the top of the plunger and turn it 3–4 times counter-clockwise.

Pull the old blade out. If it is broken or stuck, use needle-nose pliers to grip the exposed section.
